Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and AMALTHEA LLC ("Amilla", "we", "us") for your use of Hilo, our app and guest event pages (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Using Hilo
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to use the Service.
- Give accurate information, including a phone number you are allowed to use.
- You're responsible for the events you create and what you post about them.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to harass anyone, send spam, post illegal content, invite people who haven't agreed to hear from you, or interfere with the Service's operation. We may suspend accounts that do.
SMS terms
Program: Hilo event notifications. When you enter your phone number on a Hilo event page and confirm it with the code we text you, you agree to receive text messages from Hilo about that event.
What we send: a one-time verification code, RSVP confirmations, changes to the event's time or place, cancellations, and RSVP deadline reminders. We do not send marketing messages.
Frequency: message frequency varies by event.
Costs: message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We'll send one message confirming you've been unsubscribed and won't text you again unless you opt back in.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your phone number.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the Service.
Changes and termination
We may change or stop parts of the Service, and we may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let members know. You can stop using the Service at any time.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we're not responsible for events organized through it or for the conduct of people who attend them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Amilla is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
